Restaurants

  • Dishoom - don't miss. The best Indian food ever. We go to the one in Carnaby. Get the dahl and chicken tikka.

  • Sketch - a very hip place for tea. You must make a reservation if you want the full experience. You can also just grab a drink or cream tea (simply tea and a scone) in one of the many beautiful rooms.

  • Granger & Co. - a great place for breakfast/brunch in Notting Hill. No reservations.

  • The Ivy Chelsea Garden - if you want to get fancy for breakfast or lunch.

  • The Mae Deli on Weighhouse Street (Mayfair) - from food blogger Deliciously Ella. Amazing healthy and plant-based options.

  • Anything in the Ottolenghi family

Go on a walking tour with London Walks - I took the "Welcome to London" tour, which was a great highlight reel.

Sights: Westminster Abbey and Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Changing of the Guard, Tower of London (book in advance to avoid the queues), London Eye, St. Paul's Cathedral, British Museum (for the Rosetta Stone and much more), Tate and Tate Modern (art), Trafalgar Square, Churchill War Rooms (one of my faves), Sky Garden (great view), Borough Market (amazing food hall)
