+ What is the worst thing that’s happened to you while traveling?

Morgan: Landing in Rome during my semester abroad without knowing where I was going and panicking because I didn't have a way to get in touch with my friends with whom I was visiting. I had to get euro, make change, and use a payphone. (What's a payphone?!) Thank goodness for smarthphones and wifi.

Morgan: Allow yourself to get lost in the culture, try new foods, and do your research so you don't miss out on something incredible due to poor planning. Plus, always know how you're going to get to your accommodation before landing in a new country.
Amanda: Go with the flow. Plan the basics ahead of time, but let yourself experience the city and expand your trip outside of the cliché tourist attractions.
