Morgan: Coffee with chocolate sprinkles, but sadly have to opt for the dairy free option
Amanda: Strawberry balsamic from BiRite creamery in SF

+ What’s the best book you’ve read in recent years?

Morgan: A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
Amanda: ^ I started that but couldn’t finish! I’m going with anything by John Green.

+ What country is at the top of your travel list?

Morgan: New Zealand
Amanda: South Africa

+ What is your dream vacation?

Morgan: The perfect balance of culture, adventure activities, and beach.
Amanda: Castles, wine and beaches

+ How many countries have you been to?

Morgan: 35
Amanda: 15

+ What is your favorite country?

Morgan: Italy - of course so cliché, but really. I’ve been there 7 times. It truly is that amazing.

+ What is the worst thing that’s happened to you while traveling?

Morgan: Landing in Rome during my semester abroad without knowing where I was going and panicking because I didn't have a way to get in touch with my friends with whom I was visiting. I had to get euro, make change, and use a payphone. (What's a payphone?!) Thank goodness for smarthphones and wifi.
Amanda: Food poisoning that hit as I was boarding a flight home :(

+ What’s the number one thing you must have when you travel?

Morgan: a sturdy pair of cute comfortable sneakers
Amanda: a stylish yet practical hat for whatever environment I’m in

+ What is your best travel advice?

Morgan: Allow yourself to get lost in the culture, try new foods, and do your research so you don't miss out on something incredible due to poor planning. Plus, always know how you're going to get to your accommodation before landing in a new country.
Amanda: Go with the flow. Plan the basics ahead of time, but let yourself experience the city and expand your trip outside of the cliché tourist attractions.
